rearanging postbit

Ok so i was trying to rearange the postbit a little. Im not used to modding vb3 yet. I went to the template editor and found the postbit template and started moving the code to display the avatar above the code to display the userrank but its not showing up after i save it. Is there something else I need to be doing to change the arrangement?

Are you editing the correct style's templates?

Im pretty sure I am, ill try again, on the default template to make sure im not doing something dumb lol

its still not working for me. Im editing the postbit template in vb3. I see where its calling for things and im just cutting and pasting the code, example putting the call for avatar above the userrank. I dont get why its not moving. Is there another template i also have to change besides postbit? Im really confused here:(

does it show up on the preview?? (the code that is)

If it does, that means ull probably have to make some more tables for the rearrangement. Remember, the universal vbulletin alignment problem solver is, put your tables inside more tables :D

I cant understand why some thing cant just display like they should, its a real hassle, ive rearranged the heck out of my postbit so i know what ur going through. But through trial and error i finally added enough tables to get it working.

alright thanks, ill keep on working on it lol

Make sure you are editing the correct postbit template, if your postbit looks like vB2's then edit the postbit_legacy templatem and if you are using the vB3 styled postbit, edit the postbit template.
