Search for the phrase title

x_powered_by_vbulletin

in the replacement text remove the powered by vbulletin.

now it will just say

SITE NAME

thats from vbulletin.com

so if you didnt buy that option...ya...i can see getting into trouble for removing it.

He/she is not referring to the footer copyright, but the 'Powered by vBulletin' in the browser title.

If you are by any chance referring to the footer, ask at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum about what you can out of the footer text, take out. But the copyright must stay.
