Looking for opinions on a new style
 

Hi all


This is a style I am going post in a few days and was wondering what people think of this header and button design! The icon for the buttons will be more white when I finish them, but the button design is pretty much what the final will look like but they will be smaller moving right to left! Please tell me what you think! I call this "Purple Storm"

I am working on the "CAT" display now, it will be very close to the nav bits frame but it will not have the round center for the title like the nav bits example below! Then center wwill curve in like the top of the logo...


I should have a full example ready tomorrow, I just am busy working on 3 clients styles right now!

Your work is quite original. I'm not overly fond of the purple colors, and that's just a personal preference but the styles looks nice so far. Good job! :)

This will be the last image preview, for Purple Storm, I should have a demo of it working late tomorrow night. I am so dam busy, so I am going very slow....

This will be released by Friday the lastest!


This will show you what the "forumhome cats and navbits" will look like! The outer purple backgound will have rounded corners and a nice glass effect around the whole border! The header is now smaller than my other examples and contains yellow glowing effects, it looks much better this way. You will see what I mean tomorrow! The forum is split in 3 sections header (nav), cats + navbits and then footer, each is enclosed with a rounded border. The threads display is using 'postbit_legacy', which is also split (user info, message area) so that each has it's own framed border!

Hi all...

This is a good example of work in progress. If you look at my posts in this topic you will see, what I started with and how I kept changing things until I got to where I liked what I was designing! The design process takes a long time, but when you finish one it really is cool to see how it changed from your original idea!


Purple Storm -> Purple Passion!

I will not have time to finish the navigation and status incon until Sunday, so I will only release this on Monday instead of tomorrow!
