Install this Mod link?

Being New and dumb what does this actually do as I have clicked a couple but nothing seems to happen.

Is it just a log of downloads?

I was probably hoping too much for an install wizard :D

It just lets the owner know how many members have installed the modification and who has, as well as lets you keep track of what you've installed.
