GamingEvo.com

<a href="http://www.gamingevo.com" target="_blank">www.gamingevo.com</a>

My old site, Underground Gaming Federation, is now just the forums for my new site, GamingEvo.com.

I spend all day converting a web template I made into its skin, I still have to finish off the image set, but the main design is done for the most part. Comments are welcome.

Hard to give comments when the board is closed shadow

mx3 04-25-2004 01:30 AM

It's closed? The forums aren't, just the main site. You can click any of the buttons or links and itll take you to the forums. The word 'forums' links to them in the text as well.

nvm ^^

bleh another vB2 in this day and age? IMO bad choice but good luck.

Comment on the skin, please, and not my choice of software.

Whats wrong with vB2? It's a perfectly good script that accomplishes enough for some webmasters. I find vB3 to be over complex. It doesn't matter if it's vB2 or vB3, I still dislike the templates, nothing was really done to make it look different and stand out. :)

Thank you. I personally love vB2 to death.

And thanks on the skin comments, I guess :p

I'm a fan of vBulletin, any version. I don't think someone should be dismissed because they use older software. vBulletin2 for me is just right, not too much not too little. I use vBulletin2 for the community I run and will continue to for a long time.

To elaborate on my comments. I like when people go out of their way to make their forums look different then the packaged pundle of software. Not many people really stray from the default look.

I do like the choice of color and the header though.

Hes a friend of mine and i just bug him for starting a new forum in this day and age with vB2 :\ seems like a waste IMO. :) otherwise its not bad

mx3 04-25-2004 02:19 AM

A friend that can become very annoying you are, :p I don't mind vB3 but I do mind when you constantly bug me about why I should upgrade when I'm perfectly fine with what I have ;) Thanks for caring though

And k33nny, what do you think I should to do make it look better? not sure what to do, as I have done a lot already with the customizing. Recommending template mods would help ;)
