Style problems, need help!

Now, i have a couple of problems on my board. First one in the dimensions. The thing is, that if i set the size of the main table in my Stule options in percents (for example 75%, everything gets messed up when I try to resize the window, especially the top part with menus, etc, see screenshot #1. But if i set the size in pixels, eg the default 760 pixels, the problem with forum home dimensions gets fixed, but a new one appears. If my message includes some code, this happens: see screenshot #2. Any way to solve that problem?

Also, i was wondering how can I decrease the empty are around the forum names on forum home? For example, see here: http://www.gzhq.net/forums/ the text is right next to the forum borders, while in the default installation there is some space there.

All help very appreciated, thanks.

Anyone? Please help!
Especially with the last question.

Everything looked ok on your site when i looked. Usualy for me, you get messed up dimensions when say, you have huge smilies in the smilie box which causes the page to strech. Look for things like that, that may be causing the page to strech out of dimension.

I've fixed the dimensions problems, just had to find the xact table width, when the code tags won't mess up the main table size.

What about my second question though?

See the screenshots.
On the first one, the forum title and description are right next to the table borders, that's how I need it to be.
The second screenshot shows the way i have it now and the default way, there is some space (a few fixels) between the forumname and description and the table borders. Decreasing that space will make the forums more compact and let me save some space.

Any way to do this?

i think thats just some specing and padding setting.

You can find that in the top part of your style settings i think.
