Modify 'Last Thread' & 'Next Thread' targets?

Hi,

I use a differant style for a few sub section on my forum and have the threads listed in alphabetical order rather than by date. Is it possible to modify the 'Last Thread' & 'Next Thread' targets in the showthread template (or someplace else) to go to the next/previous thread in alpha. order as they are listed in the forumdisplay rather than 'nextnewest' which is by date/time?
