Border Around Signatures

I was directed this way by another member for some guidence.

I have been attempting to do something that I thought was going to be simple. I just want to put a border around the signatures in the post. Alot of times the signatures and the post seem to run together so I wanted to seperate them a bit. Here is the 3 samples of what I have.
the 1st post is what I don't want and the 2nd and 3rd are what I am trying to do. I am running vb2.3.3.
