Tutorials

Are there any tutorials on designing your own template? I want to design a template to make my forum look as good as this one does however i want a cartoon feel to it. Is there anything that could help me learn how to do it?

As far as I know there isnt any such tutorial. Its mainly experimentation to get a good style.
