A Few Little Things

1 Attachment(s)
Right. Just installed Vbulletin on our actual forums. :) Just a few little niggles that I'm sure can be sorted with a few <br /> tags.

All I basically need to know is which template to edit and which parts code needs inserting, deleteing or moving.

Mod 1
-------
On the Forum Home page, between the Navbar and the Forum Table, I would like to swap over the Xtrememods.com text under the navbar with the Member Stats as shown in the picture.

Mod 2
-------
In each forum category, as shown in the picture, I would like a gap between the Navbar and the "New Thread" button and also the "New Thread" button and the Table itself.

Mod 3
-------
Again, a gap between the Navbar and the actual profile part where it starts with the name and Avatar.

Mod 4
-------
Probably the hardest of all. Can the time bar and post number be moved to the bottom of the post instead of the top as I much prefer it on the bottom. The little icon can be deleted so it is just one long bar showing the time and date of posting and then the Post number at the other side.

If any of these can be done, I would be greatful if someone could post.

Thanks in advance,
Adam. Xtrememods.com

open the nav bar template

at the bottom of the template add

<br />

open the forum home template find

Code:

<tr valign="top">
 <td class="page" style="font-size: larger; font-variant: small-caps"><b>$vboptions[bbtitle]</b></td>
 <td class="page" align="$stylevar[right]"><span class="smallfont">
 Members: $numbermembers, Threads: $totalthreads, Posts: $totalposts<br />
 Welcome to our newest member, <a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$newuserid" target="_blank">$newusername</a>
 </span></td>
</tr>

and replace it with
Code:

<tr valign="top">
<td class="page" align="$stylevar[left]"><span class="smallfont">
Members: $numbermembers, Threads: $totalthreads, Posts: $totalposts<br />
Welcome to our newest member, <a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$newuserid" target="_blank">$newusername</a>
</span></td>
<td class="page" align="$stylevar[right]" style="font-size: larger; font-variant: small-caps"><b>$vboptions[bbtitle]</b></td>
</tr>

i dunno about that last one

That is absolutely brilliant, Thank you:)

Just need to work out how to do the last one.

last one would be:

open yuor postbit template, find:

Code:

<tr title="Post $post[postid]">
        <td class="thead" width="175" align="center"$scrolltothis>

        <!-- 1 -->
        <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
        <tr>
                <td><img src="$stylevar[imgdir_statusicon]/post_$post[statusicon].gif" alt="folder icon" title="$post[statustitle]" border="0" /></td>
                <td class="smallfont"><a name="post$post[postid]">&nbsp;</a> $post[postdate]<if condition="$vboptions['yestoday'] != 2">, $post[posttime]</if> $post[firstnewinsert]</td>
        </tr>
        </table>
        <!-- /1 -->

        </td>
        <td class="thead">

        <!-- 2 -->
        <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%">
        <tr>
                <if condition="$post[iconpath]"><td width="20"><img src="$post[iconpath]" alt="" title="$post[icontitle]" border="0" /></td></if>
                <td class="smallfont"><b>$post[title]</b></td>
                <if condition="$post[postid] AND $post[postcount]"><td class="smallfont" align="$stylevar[right]" nowrap="nowrap">Post #<b><a href="showpost.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$post[postid]&amp;postcount=$post[postcount]" target="new">$post[postcount]</a></b></td></if>
        </tr>
        </table>
        <!-- /2 -->

        </td>
</tr>

Delete it. save. should work, thats just the first <tr> in the postbit

That's absolutely great. Two last things if you may :)

1) Once you have gone in to your chosen category, You have the "New Thread" and Search Box. Which template do I edit to add a <br /> to it as I find this cluttered.

2) On the Report Post and IP it is on the left hand side. I've found that part in the postbit template but there is no variable to move it to the right. How do I do this.

Thanks for all your help all of you :)
