Getting Member and Guests counts in ForumDisplay and ShowThread
 
I know this 'may' seem like a pointless feature, but I'd like to know how to do it.

Currently Active Users Viewing this Forum: 1 (1 members and 0 guests) -Example

Pretty much what you see in vB3 Beta these days. I know there is probably a way to do it, but I can't by just calling the variable.. so how would I do it? $foruminfo[totalonline] or anything of similar nature? For both showthread and forumdisplay :)

Showthread would require a hack for even a list of online users to show. But further, I don't think there is any variable that counts up how many users are browsing in forumdisplay/showthread. Only displays names.

Hmm... makes sense. I'll have to check that out, I wasn't sure if there was something already built in or not. :)

It would most likely require a hack to create a count for those pages.
