What would you recommend to this? These, what i'm assuming are bots, have been hitting the site all day. I've already banned a partial IP address, but they seem to be getting passed it.

they sure are intent on getting into the mod and admin control panels.

its called googlebot, its a search engin spider, try a tracert, if you really dont want your site searched try chaging your robots.txt

they cant do anything harmfull

Yeah, some people like them as they make your site appear that it has more traffic.
