Is it safe to modify templates now
 

I am in 2 minds as to weather or not to modify templates yet .....

As VB3 RC contains all uptated templated

1) will anything i do now be undone with future update.php scripts between now and RC

2) If i edit templates now how do you install the new updated templates that comes with VB3 rc or gold.

Does any of my conserns makes sense?????

Once the new template system comes in, you will loose all of your previous modifications to the old template system on vB3.

Thats what i thought ... i will keep my modifications to a minimum until RC, I dont want to spend hours and hours now and have to do the whole thing over when vb3 goes RC

PS its trafix here ... alf is my original username when i started playing with VB ... I have asked Saintdog to change my username to trafix :)

He won't do it, simply because if he does it for one person he must do it for everyone else.
