convert banner tables to an image gif?

Hi, Please advise,

I want to take the top banner table http://www.clnews.org/ with logo and title w/ slogan to the top of my vB http://clnews.org/forums/.

How is the best way to proceed?

Is it very difficult to do for a newB.

On http://www.clnews.org/ the handscircle logo is in a small table and the title / slogan is in another table.

Is it possible to convert banner tables to an image gif?

I am no clue how to make an image in PS7 or MMFireWorks?

If any one can direct me to a tutorial that would help a lot?

I have DW and can make a layer of the banner, anyhow I think I can.
But than how do you take a layer and place it in the vB template's code.

If someone would write out a simple tutorial I could than have a sort of map to follow.

Also this is related to the banner design, I would like to to add a couple of button in the banner as well to get back to the home page and a few top level links I have planned.

The simplest way to do this is to simply take a screenshot by pressing the Print Screen ("Prt Scr") button on your keyboard, and then pasting the image into your image editing software. Then, simply edit out what you want from the screen and then save that as the graphic that you want.
