Different "New Thread" Image?

I need to use a different newthread.gif (ie: newthread_forum.gif) on forumdisplay.php to the newthread.gif (ie: newthread_thread.gif) used in showthread.php. Is there an easy way to do this?

edit the showthread and forumsdisplay templates. replace the button variable with hard coding in each template.

Just expanding on what he said, just replace the variable in the style set you want a different path in with either an $imagesfolder/name.gif or a full url. Both ways work.
