Last post by username in category
 

If you go to my forum at www.teenadvicecenter.com/forum/upload/index.php you will see that I have a category called "TAC Journals" and I was curious to know if any of you know how to make it so it can say "Last post by" in that category.

So you want to display the last post in that category on the main page?

Yes. I tried, but since it's a category, I couldn't do it right:(

Whatever subforum it is, it doesn't really matter.

Just to clarify, it doesn't matter what sub-forum the new post is in, just as long at the category would say there's a new post.

Is that possible at all?

I'm not sure, if it is I think it would require hacking.
