Image for borders

I posted this in the requests forum by mistake.

I am wondering how to make a border around my whole forums but have the border an image, like http://www.osxserver.ch/forums/

I have looked at all the mods to make a border around the forums and editing them but I haven't gotten it to work yet.

Okay I got it to sorta work.

It will display the image, but it stops after the first block of forums.

note: I plan on making it a totally different image once I get it working so please don't laugh at it yet, and the style is nowhere near done yet.

This is a real pain in the butt to do because it'll require you to wade through quite a few templates just to keep track of all the extra tables, table rows, and table cells.

If you're really interested in doing this though, I'll whip up a simple tutorial for you. If not... I don't want to be wasting my time on this one since it'll take me a nice chunk of my day to make ;)

couldnt you just use SD's 'border around forum' mod and instead of:

Code:

BORDER: 1px solid #6597D9;
use an image instead?

no, you could only have one image all the way around which wouldn't quite be the same as what he wants (i think). There could be no different images for the corners or different sides.

Sorry for not responding, for some reason I didnt get any email notifications.

I would use SD's 'border around form' but I dont know how to change it to an image.

Thanks for the replies though.
