Beyond The Portal....
 

I've wanted to post my site, but didn't cuz I didn't want to hear bad comments, hehe. Oh well, here goes anyway :D

I am working on a completely new layout so what you see is just what I've done to change my board up a bit.

Currently we host 42 forums for Gaming Clans and then we another 50 or so forums covering various things :D

-The colors are nice, nothing to spectacular though.
-Forum image is a big too big heigh wise, creates extra space so you need to scroll further for forums which can make people angry.
-Default navagation buttons don't go with your style.
-The Mod Dropdowns are very bright, maybe make them dull so they don't stand out so much.
-The links in the footer are hard to read because they're black.
-The Postbit is okay, but alot of people seem to do that category thing in the author column. Personally, I don't like that effect.

Ouch, lol :D Hey it's all good, I appreciate the comments. My members are happy so that's all that counts, but yeah I am gearing up to do an overhaul once I get some extra time, I am running a Logo Contest currently so hopefully I can get something sweet from a member to use :D

I never did get around to making buttons, funny though, I've been looking at them the past two weeks and they've been ******* me off, lol :p

Kinda like how the purple ones don't fit in here :)...they will be fixed come final :).

Even if your happy and your members, it's important to support more members coming into your forums and trying to keep it active.

Hey Tony, I've been thinking about the footer on my board as well for some time, so today I finally fixed it, I did the same in forumdisplay as well :D

A billion sites out there use the ubiquitous three-column vB Portal look. I just can't stand it anymore. :(

That's only on our front page, the forums are different from that...
