User fields....
 

Is it possible to make a user field have a "minimum length"? I ask this because the User Fields in the Admin CP ask for a maximum field, but users get around it by not entering the info that is required. For instance I have a birthdate user field set up and it has been working great for newly registered members, however today I had someone only enter 4 digits of what I ask for even though I blatantly tell them to enter the info as xxxx-xx-xx. I was wondering if there was a way to make them enter all digits of a user field, so in this case they would have to enter a full birthdate?

I don't believe so. You could do something with Javascript but that's always easy to get around.

hmmmm, I just hate the fact that some people can't even follow simple instructions so I like to rule with an Iron Fist and make them do it :D
