I get that when I try to update my email address, I need to to update my email address to the one in my vbulletin info...

You can't use any popular free-based e-mails, they're banned.

If it's a free one vBT has traditionally never accepted them.

well, I hate free email accounts myself.. but the one I am trying to use is the one from my domain :confused:

Try creating another e-mail on your domain (with different name). If that appears as banned too then your domain seems to be banned. o.O

Normal mods don't have the power to ban/unban, sorry. You'll need to wait for SaintDog.
