Personally I think it's ugly but if you study the mod you'll see it's simple to edit.

Yeah, I had no idea that you could do so much with categories. I made subforum look more like forums on the forumhome, so it asdded some diversity.
You can add an on/off image for categories too, but that is only usefull if you limit the depth to one, which not everyone does.
