Umm...this barely has anything to do with vbulletin, and nothing to do with templates, so i didnt put it in the request forum.

Can someone write a tutorial for setting up a localhost with PHP and mySQL on a computer? And not the one with robouk, i tryed it and it didnt work for me :(

If you want to avoid going through all the various setups - there is a solution to download a program that sets you up as apache, includes phpmyadmin, and mysql database.
Very very simple to use and install. Originally it is in french - but there are english installation files too.

The thing about thoese programs is they are rarely up to date. And doing it yourself acully teaches you something :)

Agreed here too. There is no better way to learn than by own trial and error. Have done a whole lot of that lately myself. You can tell by my newly found grey hairs, lol.
But premade proggies are a saviour when one does not have sufficient time to play around - or for prefabricated dummies like me. It can be a stepping stone of introduction, ....to then get onto the real thing.
