Need Bread crumb and Category help

Is there a way to make a forum that is acting as a category not a part of the bread crumb? I have a lot of users that no next to nothing about computers and it is just one more way for them to get confused. Here is what I mean:

forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost take out the link before the forum variable.

That definitely did the trick for the first part. Thanks a bunch. Does anyone have any info for the second part? I would really appreciate the help.

Forumdisplay template I think, do the same thing over again.

Aha! You'll need to go into navbar too as thats where the forum/thread navbar is controlled. See if you can find any linkages there.

It lookes more promising but it looks like it would disable all of the links in the breadcrumb. I'm wondering if I would need a hack in order to do this.
