Specyfieng post 'category'

Specyfieng post 'category' from the dropdown box, have seen on some board. It's like before the subject field - anice little dropdown box in which you choose, what kind of theme it is - it's very usefull. [ex]

For example,
Photoshop
Illustator
Artwork
etc..

And when posted it is displayed in the same line, before the suvject with a little bit different CSS atribute, something like this Photoshop .

Hmm can you post a screenshot of what you mean? (Just from a place you have seen this as I'm not quite understanding)

filburt1 01-30-2003 10:29 AM

Well that's what subforums are for provided you have enough demand for each category. If you don't want to use them you'll have to hack.

Orfejs 01-30-2003 02:43 PM

No, I don't wan't to make subforums, because people doen't like to post in them, if it's a little board. The problem is - I don't remeber, where do I have seen this.

Something like:

[beginner questions] Specyfieng post 'category'

Got the point?

Orfejs 02-02-2003 10:36 AM

It's like prefix, which you choose from a dropdown box.
Rufus, Tony, Saint, anybody!!!

omega buster 02-02-2003 11:29 AM

i get your point.
when we create a new thread, above the subject field we can choose something like "Photoshop , artwork , firework"or anything that we can specify from the admin panel in drop down box
and will be displayed like:

[Artwork] Thread name
or
[Photoshop] Photoshop Help

i`ve seen this hack somewhere on vbulletin.org
i`m sure you`ll find it there

Orfejs 02-02-2003 03:04 PM

I can't. Have searched for two days. Maybe it's on other site?

filburt1 02-02-2003 03:17 PM

Omega's idea is the only one you can do without hacking (using a custom thread icon). Beyond that you must continue the conversation at vB.org.

Orfejs 02-02-2003 03:39 PM

All the conversasions I start are closed or overtrhown. Not fair. And you still did not gave an answer to my question: how can I sumbit some graphic add-ons to the DB?

filburt1 02-02-2003 03:49 PM

The db's having issues right now so you can't; just submit them in their forum here.
