Tutorials?

Anyone know where i can get some tutorials for making my own vB style sets? Or even just single tutorials where they tell me how to create a certain part of a style set? As long as they are photoshop7 ones thatd be great.

There are no tutorials on how to create a style set. You possibly couldn't make one as you need skills at HTML, Color matching and just general knowledge of the vB Templates and replacements.

Jim,

Like Tony said above there is really no source for designing styles; however, you can learn some of the skills to create them by looking at various tutorials, I would reccomend these two:

http://robouk.mchost.com/
http://www.pixeljunction.com

Other than that I learned alot through looking at modified boards and deciding what I like, what I don't, etc.

You can contact me if you want any further help :)

Try installing template mods too, after a few you know what some of the templates functions do. :)

and hacks, learn from using them and expand your horizons at the same time! :D

Hmm ok some nice suggestions and ill be sure to check a few of those options out, but after hard thinking ive decided to just stick to my graphic design, it might not help so much when it comes to style sets, but i may be able to make some graphics for people, i am actually quite good if givent the chance.

Hacks usually add features, not edit the appearance. The main part of a style is to edit it's apperance. Simply adding new features doesn't do that. :)
