Im sitting here watching the call-for=help athon on techtv. Anyway this guy just called in and asked how he could get sp1 for his warez copy of XP without it resetting the activation time.

Windows is ridiciously expensive, though. Even the full version of OS X isn't as expensive as the mid versions of Windows.

Yeah but at least Apple releases many of their apps for free. iTunes, iSync, etc. are all free and it rarely crashes...

Im not dissing apple. My point is that its hard for anyone with little money to buy a high end mac when they could build a pc for less and use a os like linux for free.
