Removing border from Forum | Posts | Threads, etc?

1 Attachment(s)
Problem: I am trying to remove the border from inbetween Forum | Posts | Threads, etc. on forumhome, while still keeping the top and bottom border (Image attached). I searched vBT for it, but I couldn't find anything to help me with what I'm trying to do.

I do have seperated categories, and category images added on.

Version: 2.2.9

Any help on this is greatly appreciated. I tried to end my forumhome_level1_nopost and start a new table below that, but all of the cells end up with completely different widths than the Forum | Posts | Threads tables.

It is not very easy at all without overhauling most of the other templates to use CSS...unless somebody knows a way? You could make the first cell span 6 columns and then dump in a nested table, but you have to have specified absolute widths for each of the columns.

For some reason I was thinking that there would be a way to do it without specifying widths for the tables, that was really my big concern. But I'm doing that now, it's working out, sort of.

Another way I see it is to make the border color a very similar color to the images and therefore blending in. That color would also go good against your white. :)

But do the way filburt suggested! :)

I ended up making a seperate table for the forumhome_level1_nopost and level2 and specifying table widths inside of it. I didn't really want to, but I had no choice, came out perfect.
