yes, the style and template won't be used, til the users go into user cp and options to save it again.

bevor that, the users and all the others just see the default template on the mainpage.

does someone know the problem? im using 2.2.7

If you want the users to use a certain style, you need to set it as default. Otherwise they will have to change it that way.

how can I change it to default?

do I have to rename the template to "Default" or is there an option? The problem is, I took over the forum from another user, and I think there is no original default template anymore. I think that because when I change the template currently called default, nothing is chaning.
so how can i create a default template?

Yea, it must be default to be seen because in global.php it sets the styleid to 1 (default) if the user is not using any other style.
