Web Hosts
 
Anyone know of a free web host that can support vB?

I was on spaceports but my account kept getting deleted because "you where using too much bandwith"

Lycos I believe supports PHP/MySQL (I think), although as far as free hosts, there are not too many that are going to provide you with both and not have problems (after-all, they are free). I would suggest going with a pay host, the more your board grows, they more bandwidth you will need.

I believe spaceports offers 5GB of bandwidth free, so you are actually on the line of paid hosting at this point as not many free hosts are going to offer that much.

It is something a good deal of websites using free services face, if your site is popular and receives enough traffic, you may wish to visit WebHostingTalk.com and post in the hosting requests forum for a sponsorship; there you may be able to find a host that will provide you with hosting, in exchange for banner ad placement.
