Need some help with the default template

I just recently purchased the apocalypse skin from Alex. I love it. The only problem I am having with it is that when you log onto my forum, you see the original template. Alex placed a dropdown menu so you can choose between the two but I want to know how I can make my new skin the default.

Any help and detailed newber instructions would be greatly appreciated.:)

If you don't want the default even selectable (It looks quite fugly compared to the new style you have) Then just go Styles -> Modify -> Default -> [properties] and make it non-selectable =P.

If you still want it selectable then say so cuz that is a little more involved =P.

What I did was download the style and then upload it over the default one. Of course, this rids of your default template completly so if you want to keep it don't use this method.

This is still very confusing for me.

Go to your admin cp. Find the Styles are and click Modify. click [properties] beside the default style. make it NOT user selectible.

now click add style in the cp nav. name it anything you want, create a new template and replacement set and make it user selectible.

that sould make your new style the default and the one you had the second. the one you add will be the same has the default vBulletin style.
