DoD Studios Forums

Hey well i have pretty much finished my first ever vb forums design. I think they turned out pretty cool....although i'm not much of a graphics artist. But i really liked how the postbit turned out...it got a dropshadow effect almost.....without ever planning on that happening :D (accidents rule :P)

The forums are at forums.dodstudios.net

Please don't mind the home page...its kinda been neglected in the setting up of the forums :P

So lemme know your thoughts on it...cause you are the gurus of this ;)

If you need anymore info just let me know

-Too much stuff at the top. More needs to be put at the bottom. I suggest the Statistics.
-Some of the Who's Online colors don't match your scheme. I suggest you change them.

Otherwise, nice start.

yeah i thought the top was a bit clustered....

so i took your advice and moved the stats to the bottom and fixed the who's online colors

is there anything else i could add to make them look better? or need to fix

Your postbit could use some work. It looks a bit messy with so many tables.

imported_Eternale 10-01-2002 04:48 AM

i think the post bit table with the avatar and stuff should be some kinda color of blue like dark blue maybe...

Elemenopee 10-01-2002 09:26 PM

i'm not really sure what to change it to...you suggesting going with just a single table?

Eternale i'll look into how that looks like

Tony G 10-02-2002 12:46 AM

Get rid of all the tables in the author column. Thats what makes it look messy.

Elemenopee 10-03-2002 10:06 PM

alright i updated the postbit...and you were right tony it looks a lot better...anything else?
