I thought i've seen this modification here anywhere, but i can't seem to find it :(

I'm looking for info on how to make a forum (eg. 'Template Modification Support') on the forumhome an external link, so it doesn't open a regular forum with posts, but another page on your webspace, eg. a java-games page.

Can anyone help me with the name or a link to this modification?

I think this requires hacking, but im not sure. Try asking at vbulletin.org
