I'm new to vB...
 
Ok, i dont understand how to do postbits and stuff...

like for the offline/online glow hack... what does

You have to login to the admin CP
go to the bottom where it says "Templates" and click on the modify link
Click expand on your Defualt set
scroll down until you see
"Postbit Templates [expand]" or "Postbit [expand]"
Click the expand
click modify from original on the "postbit_online" one in there.
