2nd Title..?
 

A mate of mine has just stared a clan, I say just as its a week old and has 3 members, if you include me 4 but I dont get time to play much, anyhow, I wish him luck, lol, he was trying a board at avid gamers or something like that, I showed him an old board I use to help out and he liked it, so Ive set up a vB board to get sorted and running off my HDD while he tries talking hes dad into paying for a host. (Which we would also like advice on if possible please..?) Anyhow, he wants people to have what level they are (Admin, mod, newbie.) but also have it say in the postbit what clan there in, so it can be set in the CP or something..? I am aware that this is probably classed as a postbit mod but I didnt see a postbie request section..? Sorry.

Would be a Hack I think and not a Mod.

Unless you create a custom user field, and get them to enter their clan. Then in postbit just put "Clan : $post[field77]" (replace 77 with the field number of the custom user field).

Do you just want the name of the clan or how many "points" they have? o_O

With clans, you can find some really nice hacks at vBulletin.org that can add neat features that you might like.
