Need tips on how i can improve the look of the forum

Well looking at the frontpage it looks good but too many banner ads. That's a turn off of mine but if you need the money from them keep them. Umm other then that I'd say that the default postbit kills it. You should work on a more exciting one.

postbit? the ads pay for the hosting

The thing that displays the post. Av location all that good stuff. Go check out postbit modifaction forum to get some ideas on what to do.

The buttons make my browser wide. So that could be improved for 800x600 screen resolution users.
A welcome panel could be added. And the postbit, A lot of work can be done on that. Again, buttons are too big. The footer is too big.

Even for 1024 X 768 that should be big. Buttons are too far aligned.

And it looks kinda like vB.org..

Chears, ill go hunt down some smaller buttons, any recomended sites for me to check?

oh as for a welcome panel ill be puting that up tonight, done a bit of work on the post bit but nothing drastic as tbh i dont know that much about what im doing lol

I would go with another color scheme, it does look too much like vBulletin.org's which takes the originality from it. It is not that hard to find a nice color combination.

k, dark blue is realy the scheame i am after, possably a silver? there was a program i remember that was good for getting colours t hat went well with each other i know thats a bit vaigue buut any ideas of simalar tools? my creative skills are extremely limited :/
