General Question
 

Ok, on some Vb boards when a page is displaying it can't seem to make up its mind where each item goes. In other words, icons and images seem to jerk here and there before they settle down to their final resting place. On some boards the page appears peacefully and on some boards I wonder if it's ever going to settle down. Is this because of conflicts between the template mods and the original format?

No, this is because they haven't given their images a width attribute.

If the browser knows the dimensions of an image before it loads it, it only takes up the amount of room that image needs... but if it doesn't know the dimensions, it displays it at the size the alt text takes up.
