... seems a little extreme to me. I own many domains, but don't use pop3 e-mail accounts because I find hotmail easier.

You may want to consider this.

Apart from that though, the site looks good.

Allowing free based e-mails allows users to sign up for many e-mail accounts and spam the boards. I am not saying you will, but it has already happened many times (many IP's and many e-mail accounts have been banned), so free based e-mails will not be released from the ban list here at vBT.

I suggest that you use an e-mail account provided by your ISP to avoid any registration problems concerning your e-mail address.
