In the post bit how do i turn these areas into an image??

1.the bit at top and bottom of the post bit, i.e the area containing the new post and new thread buttons. Like on this forum.

2.erm wait no nm about 2 lol :)

ok thnx but i dont want it to conform to the forum homes area that uses the same part? how can i do this?

The postbit question has already been answered, as stated in my first post, I am stating that you need to use the search function and you will find your answer (the same postbit question has been asked many many times already).
