Moderator & Donater "Pips"

I tried to search for it and couldnt find it, unless it would be classified as the star hack. But do you know how to make pips (an image viewable in showthread) for certain user groups?

Like under the avatar it would display a desiered image denoting Moderator or Donating Member..etc?
