3 templates, want only one

I have 3 styles for my bulletin, it create 3 templates, and im not sure if i really need all 3. I would like to know if its possible to have only 1 template so i can edit all the strings of my whole forum within that one. It is really hard for me to modify every single one. Please help!

It would take more than a template modification to do this, ask or search at vBulletin.org.

just on the styles goto properties and change the template set each one uses. I believe this is it but correct me if im wrong

Yes that will work, but if all styles draw from the same template set, all 3 styles will be the exact same I do believe.

Each style has its own colors, and custom headers and footers, isnt that a problem if i only wanted 1 template?

from what your saying I would have to say that would require some hacking of the php files, you can ask http://www.vbulletin.org for help on that... they have a request forum that you can ask this in. :)

the colors are in the replacement variables just change the template set and not the replacement set but the header and footer are in the templates so yes it will mess those up

as long as the layout is the same, and only headers and graphics are different, all can share the same template. they only use a different replacement set.

then just delete the other two templates.

Ok thanks, I will try that but its been so complicated for me lately, uhg! :(

but remember, if they share a template, the HTML code will all be the same :)
