User Login Log v2.0

? 23rd June 2005 - Released 2.0 ?
(To upgrade, just upload the new loginlog.php to you /admincp/ directory)

? Now includes ability to view report of all logins in past X hours, oeither of a specified user or all users

What does this do?

Basically, this small hack allows you to log each login and bring up a report of each users logins

Why would i need this?

I don't even know if you will, the main reason I wrote this script is so that I can view and compare login times/ip addresses/useragents of suspected multiple users on my boards

Yes I know I need to add phrases into it and I will get round to this one day soon. This was a quickly made simple hack for something that I needed for my own board. Although any suggestions for future releases would be appreciated

If this only logs true logins what happens when someone logs in once and never does again because of the stored cookie?

Xenatino 06-23-2005 05:23 AM

The script does not account for stored logins as this was not the main use for the script when I wrote it. I reallly just wanted to see if users were logging out of one account and in on another account.

Interesting.... especially useful if you want to see if someone is using someone elses account. Might have some use in the future! Thanks :D

If you're having trouble (like i did) and you getthe database error add "vb3_" in front of login_log as the table prefix when you execute the SQL query. I did that and it worked fine...nice hack

Outstanding, thank you, the hack installed easily and is working well!
