It messes up the forum skin when it streches all the way to the end then makes another line. Could someone help me out? ^_^ Thanks

you're looking for the substr function, as it's here i'm guessing you don't want it written for you so here you go
PHP Code:
            $forum['thread_title'] = substr(stripslashes($forum[thread_title]),0,50) . "..."; 
ofcourse you can manipulate it to put the ... in the centre using two of em :)
