Best Way To Completely Customize VBulletin

1 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to completely customize my vBulletin forum into the attached image. I've already sliced the entire image and coded it as simple HTML page.

What's the easiest (and best) way to turn my image into my forum using vBulletin's built-in templating tools within the admin page?

I modified a few files one at a time, but I became really frustrated after I realized how slow everything was going.

I must know if I'm wasting my time editing template files one at a time, or doing everything right.

If editing each template one at a time is the correct way to do things, would anyone be willing to help me complete a part of my forum?

Thanks,
Koa

You would need to edit the,

header
navbar
footer
forumhome
showthread
forumdisplay

templates at the very least :)

BTW, when your design is finished you will need the complete vB copyright which at the very mininum must read

vBulletin Copyright ?2000 - 2005, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.

Not if the person purchased a no-branding fee.

correct, but then there would just be lack of a copyright for vB all together ;)

Thanks for responding everyone! So basically I'm stuck with slowly and painfully customizing every template in order to completely customize the forum... crap.

It dont take that long, your showthread and forumdisplay are about the hardest I would say.

Use the Replacement Variables system for your image tables.
