[ushop] user post color
This action will let your users choose a default color for thier posts in exchange for points.
This makes use the g-force2k Font Color Hack and the action file itself is from Link14716, so all credits and thanks should go to them. Instructions (also included in the zip): a) you will need to install the font color hack by g-force2k located at https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=60031 Be sure to skip the step where you add the option for users to choose thier post color in their profile options since we want them to waste points instead via the store. b) upload the action file and install like any other. Enjoy! |
Have you got any screen shots for it? i might install this when i get my forum working again! Sounds Good nice work :D

I really appreciate this Reeve of Shinra, but you said that the instructions are in the zip, but there is only a php file for download.
Could you tell me how to install your action? I am still a bit of a noobie. |
Hello: No screenshots needed, instead of having to manually put the color tags around each post, it lets your users automatically select a color to be used.
Plubius: I attached the zip but the instructions are also in my post but if you need to know how to install the action, go into your admincp / ushop / action manager -> add action and in the box just enter action.postcolor.php, set your cost and your good to go. |
it would be wonderful if this could be set up to allow members to change the post colour or some other aspects of another member's post like they can with with the user name.
|
damn ! I was always thinking about this, thank you to make this public.

Fan flippin tastic. My members were just requesting this, and here is the ushop feature. WOW. Question, is there a way to have them select the font color from a drop down menu instead of typing it in manually, like how members select gifts?... now all I need is the Font Face mod LOL.
FANTASTIC.. THANKS!!! |

Possibly but I'm going away tomorrow so I wont have time to look into it. |
I think I got it, works for me anyway.
Give your users the option to choose their font color from a drop down menu. Open action.postcolor.php and: FIND Code:
'type' => 'input', Code:
'type' => 'dropdown', Code:
// Create Input Fields Code:
