NEED help!!!!

My forum home and vbadvanced portal are not working. Show blank screen (or in Opera a bunch of garbled text). All other pages work. Everything has worked till last night. I have not changed anything or installed anything for at least 2 weeks.

Here are examples:

Does not work:
http://aquatic-photography.com
http://aquatic-photography.com/forum/

Works:
http://aquatic-photography.com/gallery/
http://aquatic-photography.com/forum/memberlist.php

I have posted on Vbulletin.com but not getting any answers that help. Thought maybe someone here would help me with this. here is the thread:

All index files are there on the server. I even wrote over them (backed up first) with back up files (30 days old) of my old server versions, and still the same. Checked forumhome and portal templates, they are there, and seem ok.

Weird. Seems like all scripts are working, except index.php
Do you have anything in Template phpinclude_start?
If you like, you can send me a PM with ACP/FTP account details and i'll take a look into it.

Here are your todays posts and your articles . Download and check all your index.php's .. viewing source shows they are all blank !?

I see you're running vBulletin Version 3.0.4 .. did you upgrade the security patches ?

apfparadise 06-17-2005 08:53 PM

TTG, the index files are all there, I have downloaded them and line-checked them and they are working fine. The board is patched up just not upgraded.

Andreas, I pm'ed you.

I see you solved the problems .. care to enlighten us !?

Andreas 06-18-2005 08:44 AM

The problem is not really solved - it's currently just a workaround as I was not able to fully track it down.
It seems like fetch_gzipped_text() fails in some cases and aborts silently, but I got no clue why.

Could it be something the server people chaned on their side?
