Event Calander/Scheduler
 

Possibly using the existing vB Calander? Similar to the Event Attendance hack, but more advanced

Ability to add events and allow members to sign up/reserve spots.

Ability for event admin (creator of event) to reserve spots for friends (on friends list) or allow/disallow members to join. Friends List Only, Invite Only, Public, Exclude Ignored Users, etc.

Ability to bump/remove people from events should the need arise.

Automatic reminders and e-mails to those that signed up for the event.

Reporting afterwards (Results, stats, etc)

Completely searchable/browsable.

Example - Online gaming event. Joco328 schedules a game for next Thursday at 9PM EST. Selects Unreal Tournament 2004 as the game. CTF as the gametype. 24 people allowed. 8 spots reserved for his friends/clan mates. After the game, Joco can enter the winning team and the score and give a little recap.

JohnnyCakes is looking for some hot UT2K4 action. He likes CTF, but doesn't want less than 16 people, more than 30. He searches the Scheduler for those parameters and finds Joco's event and signs up.

This could also work for movie viewings, poker games, D&D games, sports events, sex parties, or whatever the case may be. For my personal purpose, it would be for Xbox Live.
