Order and source of news items - how?
 
Hi guys.
you can see the current news display in the middle column here - www.avforums.com
What I want to do with the news column is show the 3 newest threads from our main news forum, the single newest thread from the DVD reviews forum and lastly the single newest thread from the Asian DVD reviews forum.
In other words specify a list of forums from which to get a specified number of newest threads.
Would it be a case of hacking copies of the news module and listing them in the page? That would be a pain in the bum. :(

That'd be what I'd do, but than there would be "Old" news down at the bottom. You could probably delete that though.
