vb.org Archive - Custom User Permissions?

Hey guys,

I visted a while back and found a helpful tutorial on permissions (i think it was helpful anyhows :p).
Anyhow, i lost the favourite and now am unsure about what i need to do to get a new permission array for my integrated site. I tried just copying/renaming an existing one (and all the array elements) and adding the permissions to the usergroup table.. but i cant figure out what else i need to do to get it to work.

If anyone could give me a quick lesson on how to create user permissions or could point me in the right way.. that would be a great help
