Help Needed: Compulsory Custom Field input for existing users
 

Hi Guys, I am implementing a voting contest and would like existing users to input a couple of compulsory custom fields before allowing to vote, can anyone advise me how to do it?

Elaborate a little more.

You can create compulsory fields in the Custom Profile Fields section of the admincp...beyond that I would need to know more about your request.

Hi Jugo, thanks for your reply.

I have created the following three custom fields:

ID No., Name and Contact No.

I cannot make them compulsory as these are fields that is only compulsory when the user enters the voting contest.

The flow will be as follows:

1. User enters voting page
2. Voting page checks for vB registered user status, request user to login/register if no registered user info found in cookie.
3. Request user to input data for the three custom fields before being allow to proceed to poll.
