Disable options - admincp/templates

I want to disable a lot of options in VBulletin; ie. calendar, search, FAQ. Some of those options can be disabled in Admin CP, but not all.

Shall I just disable those options in Admin CP and remove the html-code from the templates in order not to show a link to this option?

What about options which not can be disabled in Admin CP?
